Better Late than Never
It’s never too late to celebrate one’s birthday as long as your friends find time to celebrate it with you. I had a “delayed” birthday dinner with my High School friends, Roanne and Vennedy at Amici in SM Megamall. Too bad we were missing Bea since she had to take care of her thesis.
The menu of Amici had these tongue-twisting Italian names. It took me awhile to order since I had to practice pronouncing to avoid humiliation. Haha! OC me! Anyway, here’s what we ate (I took the shots using my phone’s camera):
Basically, we had lasagna, spinach pasta, margherita pizza and a scoop of their special mango ice cream. I guess it would be much cooler if I remembered their names. It’s like eating “like a sir”.
Our munching spree didn’t end there. We had a side-trip at the newly opened donut store - J.CO Donuts and Coffee. I bought two dozens to take home for my fam.
As usual, I can’t remember the names of each donut. Roanne, Ven, and Kuya Steven helped me choose some of these goodies.

It was a very fun day. Aside from the food trip, I got a chance to update myself with my friends. As a matter of fact, Roanne shared to us one big news. Well, I cannot share it here since it’s somehow confidential. The gist of it is…she’s on her way to the big stage. I’m really proud of you, “RAINE”!
